Role Summary

Join our innovative team as a Production Technician specializing in the production of polymeric and hollow fiber membranes. This role is pivotal in operating fiber production equipment, conducting in-process quality inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in an organic solvent nanofiltration environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain fiber production equipment specifically designed for the production of hollow fiber membranes.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure that products meet stringent company and industry standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols,



maintaining a high standard of safety, health, and environmental care within the organic solvent nanofiltration process.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and improve process efficiency, ensuring the achievement of production targets.
- Manage and document inventory levels, usage, and replacement of equipment and tools to maintain seamless production operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production techniques and reducing waste.

Requirements

- Nitec, Higher Nitec or equivalent, technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in operating hollow fibre membrane production equipment and performing maintenance tasks, preferably within a membrane production setting.
- Strong understanding of the production processes involved in polymeric and hollow fiber membrane manufacturing.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in various shifts as the production schedule demands.
