The Intranet Experience Specialist will gather continuous feedback on user experience from all stakeholders, develop and implement plans to improve the experience, respond to requests from all stakeholders and daily operational needs, and more. In addition, the Intranet Experience Specialist is expected to be a contributor to the broader Employee and Community Affairs and Corporate Affairs teams in executing internal communications projects.ResponsibilitiesHow You’ll Make an ImpactRepresent the inSite team in the firm’s inSite improvement project – work with stakeholders to outline deliverables, meet deadlines and implement planned improvements to inSite (Fidelity Canada intranet). Includes support for the Scrum Master and leadership at team meetings.On-time implementation of updatesProvide support for the Scrum Master at daily meetings and lead monthly sprint review meetingsCreation and management of backlog, road mapping future work in need of developmentWorking with software developers to represent the inSite Team’s requirements on new componentsPositive feedback from stakeholders and project partnersCoordinate all aspects of inSite daily coordination and posting of content across the site, including the management of page updates and new page requests; collaborate with team on the editorial calendar; manage the inSiteadmininbox; provide web design and layout support and guidance to the contributors with their content; oversee, interpret and share inSite analytics reports; train new publishers.Ensure inSite page requests are addressed and resolved according to established service levelsEnsure publishers are trained and content on inSite is up to date and accurateManage the inSite calendarSuccessful and timely completion of requests, including ad‑hoc and urgent requests that need rapid responseManage the inSite analyticsAct as key contact for inSite, including integration of systems, processes and technologies, documentation of job processes, emergency/backup procedures,
liaising with IS to facilitate any maintenance required, working with BCP, assessing and onboarding new technologies.Clear documentationOn-time implementation of maintenanceNew technologies assessed and onboardedPosting of internal Zoom meetings and webinars, including The Week Ahead, ERG Events, leadership team meetings, business update meetings, all‑company meetings and special events.Timely support to partnersPublishing replays on inSiteMaintenance and development of inSite’s visual appearance, including the creation of standard page templates, regular audits and refresh of site branding and creative design of new inSite pages.Achieve positive feedback from page ownersConsistent branding and aesthetic across inSiteManagement and development of inSite page templatesCollaboration with Intranet Content Specialist on content auditSupport Fidelity Canada Culture – work with internal partners to support the planning and execution of cultural events, projects and experiences.
