TramCité is the project for you.We are currently seeking a Transportation Planning Engineer with expertise in Aimsun traffic modeling to join our growing team in Toronto.## Your role* Participate in the design and evaluation of sustainable mobility solutions.* Carry out transportation planning studies while ensuring effective coordination, adherence to schedules, and the quality of deliverables.* Analyze modeling results and plans to support transportation studies.* Develop growth scenarios and propose recommendations or improvements to meet project objectives.* Prepare technical reports and summary documents to track project phases.* Present studies and results to stakeholders and explain technical issues in clear, accessible terms.## About you* Holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with a specialization in transportation.* Is a member in good standing with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).* Has a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.* Has a strong working knowledge of simulation and modeling software.* Synchro/SimTraffic and AIMSUN.* Has completed at least one traffic signal and/or transit project involving AIMSUN simulation.* Has solid knowledge of traffic signals, including programming and equipment.Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $80,700 - $111,000 annually.
