At AgeCare, we are seeking a Personal Support Worker to assist residents based on their care needs. This role involves observing residents, documenting care, and reporting findings to supervisors. You will participate in in-service training and onboarding new staff while adhering to infection prevention protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor care and observe residents according to care plans
• Document resident care and communicate findings to supervisors
• Attend training sessions, meetings, and workshops
• Assist with onboarding new staff as needed
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures strictly
Requirements:
• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Program
• Meet vocational standards by relevant ministry and associations
• Knowledge of bedside care and treatments for residents
• Understanding of sanitation and cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with geriatric resident needs
