Your responsibilities will cover the surgical recovery process, packaging, and transportation of human tissue in compliance with health standards. Your work will involve significant travel and flexible on-call shifts, making it essential to have a valid driver's license and the ability to lift patients safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surgical recovery of eye tissue from deceased individuals
• Package and transport tissues adhering to safety standards




• Assess medical suitability of tissue donors
• Conduct technical duties like blood draws and medical chart reviews
• Ensure accurate documentation and quality control
Requirements:
• University degree or diploma in health sciences
• Four years’ experience in a healthcare environment preferred
• Certification in tissue or eye banking is an asset
• Valid class G driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to work on a adaptable schedule and travel
