Join Alamo as a full time Machinist/Millwright at our Rocky View County facility. This role focuses on the repair and manufacturing of natural gas compressor components and turbocharger systems.
Alamo is seeking an energetic individual to work in our Calgary-area repair shop. Candidates should have experience in natural gas compressor maintenance and knowledge of manufacturing processes. You will receive training in turbocharger repairs while working standard weekday hours, with occasional overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fit and repair compressor components with precision
• Manufacture components for the natural gas industry
• Learn to repair turbocharger components effectively
• Participate in manual machine shop tasks daily
• Maintain organization and meet project deadlines
Requirements:
• Experience in repairing natural gas compressor components
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs safely
• Asset: Familiarity with turbocharger and engine components
• Asset: Forklift training preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
