Your Role In Supporting Our Members As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will work closely with a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support the delivery of people strategies and talent initiatives across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping translate business priorities into effective people plans that support performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Through coaching, collaboration, and a consultative approach, you will contribute to initiatives that strengthen employee experience and advance Vancity’s purpose‑driven goals.This is aFull‑time, Temporaryrole based at theVancity head officeand will report directly to theDirector, People Consulting. This role offershybrid working arrangements, which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in‑person activities or events.How You’ll Make An ImpactActing as a trusted advisor to mid‑level and senior leaders by providing strategic HR guidance aligned with organizational and people objectivesCoaching leaders on HR best practices, decision‑making, and approaches that foster accountability and high‑performing teamsPartnering with leaders to support organizational change initiatives and ensuring alignment with enterprise change frameworksUsing people and workforce data to identify trends, assess needs, and recommend strategies that enhance employee engagement and operational effectivenessSupporting talent planning and development through succession planning, career development, and capability‑building initiativesLeading or contributing to cross‑functional HR projects that advance strategic priorities and improve employee experienceProviding guidance on the application of HR policies, processes, and tools, while recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and complianceManaging complex employee relations matters, including performance management, in alignment with legal and policy standards, and partnering with senior HR leaders as neededWhat You’ll Bring To The Team5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources,

The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity.
