Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Department: Finance Union: Excluded Salary: $80,000 - $84,000 annually (based on experience) File #: 26-FA-05 (1 OPEN) Posting Date: April 10, 2026 Posting Close: April 24, 2026 Reason for vacancy: Replacement Position Summary Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager, Reporting & Budgets will play a significant role in advancing Dixon Hall’s mission by maintaining the high standards and supporting the continuous improvement of Dixon Hall’s Finance department. The Manager, Reporting & Budgets is responsible for overseeing and preparing funder reports and budgets, contract analysis, budget proposals, and weekly cash flows. Key Responsibilities Oversee, monitor, and complete funder required financial reports, forecasts and budgets accurately and on time. Review contracts and document financial requirements of those contracts to ensure Dixon Hall meets their obligations within time established timelines. Review and analyse monthly management financial statements for the purpose of identifying operational trends. Interpret budget requests and develop financial proposals. Assist with preparation of the organization’s annual budget. Participate in the Agency's annual audit providing support to the independent auditor’s process as required. Oversee special projects relating to Finance and Treasury Management (e.G. weekly cash flows). Respond to queries on financial matters from both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Provide back up support for weekly electronic payments. Other duties as required. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a closely related field of study. A current accounting designation (CPA). A minimum of 6 years of accounting experience working at a senior level. 3-5 years’ experience managing accounting personnel. Current knowledge of accounting standards and operational best practices. Experience completing and reviewing funder reporting.



Demonstrated ability to manage a full-cycle budget process. Ability to glean operational trends from financial statements and communicate the results of a financial statement review to stakeholders throughout the organization. Experience drafting and reviewing financial statements, with accompanying notes. Excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of the Office365 and SharePoint platforms and familiarity with off the shelf accounting software packages. Experience with Adagio accounting software preferred, but not required. Superior organizational, analytical, problem-solving abilities; able to manage multipleprojects and deadlines, prioritize, take initiative. Self-directed and independent, as well as proven experience in working effectively as an inter-disciplinary team member and in collaboration with other community professionals. Experience in not-for-profit accounting and grants management preferred. Solid written and verbal English language communication skills with a clear ability to exchange knowledge; fluency in additional languages, relevant to the communities of service, will be considered an asset. Must be qualified to work in Canada legally for the Employer. Able to provide a “Clear” or satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check as determined by the operational requirements of the program Working Conditions Modern office workspace illuminated by either fluorescent, LED, incandescent, or natural light sources. Able to access older buildings and workspaces that have not been converted to meet current accessibility standards. Quiet to moderate noise levels that are consistent with a modern office space shared by multiple employees. Overtime as required. Physical and Sensory Demands Long periods spent at a desk/computer. Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals. Able to tolerate a variety of indoor environments as determined by program locations. Mobility will be a key component of this position in order to address the needs of our Able to occasionally move loads, like boxes of files, weighing up to 15 lbs./6.8 kg.
