Become an Operator Tech 4 with AltaGas at the Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal (RIPET). Manage LPG operations safely, ensuring strict adherence to processes while supporting terminal activities.
This role is essential for overseeing daily operations related to LPG railcar offloading. Reporting to the Lead Operator, you'll be responsible for safety, risk mitigation, and team participation within the Emergency Response Team. As a member of the International Longshore & Warehouse Union, Local 523B, you will ensure terminal efficiency and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage LPG railcar offloading safely
• Ensure adherence to AltaGas policies and standards
• Conduct track and railcar inspections
• Report and investigate safety incidents
• Participate in Emergency Response Team activities
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2+ years experience in railcar operations
• Railcar Safety & Securement certification
• Track Inspection Level II certification
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
