About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Cybersecurity to lead and advance its enterprise cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that security measures align with and support business objectives, rather than hinder them. This executive leadership role involves overseeing the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategy, governance, operations, and risk management, as well as engaging with the Board of Directors to communicate complex cyber risks in business terms. The VP of Cybersecurity will also be tasked with building and maturing the cybersecurity team, preparing the organization for emerging cyber threats, and driving continuous improvement in cybersecurity processes.





Candidates for this role should be experienced cybersecurity executives with a proven track record in large, complex organizations. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in cybersecurity, encompassing strategy, governance, operations, and risk management, and will not be limited to a single technical domain. Executive communication, organizational leadership, and the ability to influence business decisions are key attributes for this position. The role requires a leader who can partner effectively with various stakeholders, including enterprise technology, corporate risk, audit, regulators, and external partners, to ensure that cybersecurity is in line with business priorities and supports innovation through secure-by-design principles.
