Location: Toronto, ON Level: Entry to Intermediate Hourly Rate: 32-37/hour depending on relative experience Overview Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is seeking an Project Control Officer (PCO) to support large‑scale IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate has solid financial reporting expertise, experience supporting multi‑million‑dollar programs, and a background working within Canadian banking environments. Key Responsibilities Support project managers and program leads with project coordination, reporting, and governance. Perform meticulous financial reporting , including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and tracking project burn rates. Maintain project documentation, schedules, and dashboards to ensure compliance with PMO standards. Assist with risk/issue tracking, change requests, and overall project health updates. Prepare and deliver presentations and status updates for senior leadership.



Collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams (Data Center, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity). Monitor and support projects within large programs, including initiatives up to $2M in scope. Must‑Have Qualifications 4+ years experience as a PCO or Project Analyst. Hands‑on experience supporting IT infrastructure or cybersecurity projects. Strong financial accuracy and attention to detail in reporting deliverables. Previous experience working within a Canadian banking environment. Experience supporting large programs or portfolios (up to $2M ). Excellent communication and strong presentation skills . Familiarity with enterprise PMO frameworks, governance models, and financial processes within major banks.
