Overview Position: Summer Student - Clerical (Paramedic Service) Department: Paramedic Service Department - Administration Division Location: City of Kawartha Lakes, ON Employment Status: Student Union: CUPE 855 Inside Open To: Internal/External Applicant(s) Closing Date: 01/07/2026 Duration (if temporary): Student, approximately May to September Job Title: Summer Student - Clerical (Paramedic Service) Wage: $18.66 hourly (2026) Reports To: Executive Assistant, Paramedic Service Hours: Summer Full Time, 35 hours per week Other: Hours are Monday - Friday Job Description Provides a variety of administrative duties to support the day-to-day business functions of the assigned department. Assist with the digitization of files (organize, relabel and validate documents). Organizing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems. Work with professional standards team. Conduct research, perform analysis and input data. Assist with project initiatives. Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications Enrolled in a post-secondary educational program related to Paramedicine, Nursing, Health Sciences or related. Basic understanding of certification requirements (e.G., immunizations). Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Solid organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
