OverviewHorizon Recruitment is recruiting for a TSF Manager to oversee the performance, safety, and regulatory compliance of multiple tailings storage facilities across three producing mine sites in the region. With a focus on reducing operational risk and ensuring alignment with global standards, this role plays a critical part in upholding secure and sustainable mining practices.ResponsibilitiesProvide corporate oversight of tailings management at all sitesDevelop and enforce tailings design criteria and reporting standardsCoordinate inspections and performance reviews with Engineers of Record (EORs)Ensure ongoing compliance with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM)Standardize documentation and monitoring practices across facilitiesSupport site teams with technical guidance and risk mitigation strategiesReview tailings performance reports and escalate concerns as neededQualificationsDegree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or related discipline)At least 10 years of experience in tailings design, monitoring, or oversightStrong knowledge of TSF safety and risk management frameworksExperience working with or coordinating EORsEligible or in-progress P.Eng. designation preferredOrganized and risk-aware, with strong communication skillsRemunerationBase Salary $120-$130K depending on experience.Only candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered.Horizon Recruitment Inc. is a specialized recruitment and search firm with two complimentary practice areas: Finance & Supply Chain.#J-18808-Ljbffr
