JointheCityofOwenSoundteamasanArenaLabourer.Contributetodhedailymaintenanceandcleanlinessofourrecreationfacilities,ensuringawelcomingenvironmentforallusers.Thispositionrequiresdedicationtoupholdinghighstandardsofsafetyandcustomerservice.Thepositionisexpectedtoworkbetween8and16hoursperweek.Thispostingisforanexistingvacancy.

KeyResponsibilities:

- Performdailycleaningandgeneralmaintenanceoftworecreationfacilities.
- Assistineventsetupandteardown;ensuresmoothoperationofallevents.
- Assistwithon-icedutiesduringresurfacing
- Provideexceptionalcustomerservicetofacilitypatrons.
- Followandenforcehealthandsafetyprotocols.

Qualifications:

- Experience:
- Previousexperienceinfacilitymaintenance,particularlyinmunicipalorpublicsettings,isanasset.
- Certifications:
- StandardFirstAid,CPR,WHMIS,FireExtinguishertraining(orwillingnesstoobtain).

- CoreCompetencies:
- Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills
- Independentworkmanagementwithattentiontodetail
- Knowledgeoffacilityoperationregulationsandcompliance
- ValidClass“G”driver’slicense
- Basiccarpentry,plumbing,electrical,andmechanicalskills(anasset)
- Proficientintimemanagementandadaptabletovariedtasks

SalaryRange: $20.90-$23.75hourly
