In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently registering all patients while handling essential clerical tasks. You’ll work under the direction of the Manager of Registration and Telemedicine, leveraging your skills in medical terminology and data entry. Strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff is crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and ensure a positive experience
• Validate health card numbers with Ministry of Health
• Register in-person and virtual outpatient appointments




• Update and maintain patient information systems
• Screen patients for Acute Respiratory Illness and other health concerns
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent education
• Medical Office Administration course graduate preferred
• Recent relevant experience is an asset
• Type a minimum of 50 words per minute
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
