About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Operations to lead the teams responsible for the operational aspects of the business. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of products, the security of systems, and the productivity of developers. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner in shaping the technology platform strategy, with a focus on infrastructure, security, compliance, and developer experience. Key responsibilities include defining and executing a multi-year technology platform strategy, leading the transformation of the operations model, and owning the company's co-located and cloud infrastructure.



The VP of Operations will also be tasked with maintaining and governing the security posture and compliance practices, as well as elevating the developer experience and productivity.

Applicants for the VP of Operations role at the company should have a proven track record in building and leading effective teams, delivering strategic initiatives in an agile workplace, and managing a diverse team, including remote members. Deep expertise in both co-located and cloud infrastructure, as well as experience in security and compliance for an international e-commerce setting, is essential. The role requires a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to optimize operating budgets, and a strong background in technology, spanning systems design, production operations, security, and vendor management. A minimum of 10 years' in a technology career, with at least 5 years' in a management position, is expected.
