First Baptist Brantford is seeking a minister to shepherd our congregation and guide worship services. This role demands strong leadership, collaboration with the Minister of Music, and engagement with the Board of Deacons. You will celebrate our traditions while embracing a vision for growth and outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pastor the congregation and lead Sunday worship
• Visit members and attend monthly board meetings
• Collaborate on Sunday service planning with the team
• Provide sermons for print ministry to assist wide-ranging needs
• Develop programs for international student families
Requirements:
• Degree in Theology, ordained by CBOQ or equivalent
• Strong Biblical knowledge and Christ-centered faith
• Experience in non-ministerial roles is a plus
• Current police check with a vulnerable sector
• Comfort with visitation and outreach initiatives
