The role of a Construction Lead Miner includes a wide variety of work such as Shotcreting, building refuge stations, crusher stations, muck bins, conveyor installation, timber and concrete work, sump installations and many more challenges.Inspect existing underground headingsScale loose rocks and if required have the ability to recognize and recommend to the mine department that they re-evaluate the area for ground conditions to ensure overall safety in specific work areaUse of scaling bars, pneumatic hand-held drills, use of rubber-tired underground mobile equipment such as LHD (Load-Haul-Dump) units, scissor trucks, shotcrete sprayers and other support vehicles in a confined environmentOther tasks associated with this position may include, but are not limited to, the installation of vent tubing (air, water and pumping lines),
