Thisstate-of-the-art facilityhas thelongest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.QualificationsThe successful candidate will haveprevious supervisory experiencein an industrial, manufacturing environment.Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skillsand a minimum of Grade 12 education (or equivalent) are required for this position.A goodworking knowledge of OSB manufacturing, experience with continuous process,operating large industrial machinery, and working with computer spreadsheets will be considered definite assets.Strong profit orientationand excellent communication skills are essential.Ability to stayorganizedin a fast-paced environment.Experience working withcomputer programs – Microsoft office(excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint).Proficient withmaintenance management systems, such as JD Edwards considered an asset.We value diversity at Tolko and know that experience and knowledge comes in many forms. We would love to hear your story and have you grow with us.ResponsibilitiesOperate in a safe mannerin accordance to all safety rules, regulations, and policies.Assist team leaders to maintain woodroom and log yard throughput, training and strand quality.Supportdevelopment of direct reportsthrough coaching, feedback and performance management.Conduct competency assessmentsand assist with training, which could include training on mobile equipment.Lead and plan all operational taskson down days.Be responsible forhousekeeping in the woodroomand log yard.Make regularrounds of the areas .Lead the maintenance requirementsfor the woodroom and logyard.Keep accurate logbooks, production reports, and downtime and equipment breakdown reports.Reviewfollow-up reports, team leader production reportsandshift maintenance reportsto complete root cause analysis and create action plans to address issues.In conjunction with the production team leaders,ensure all new employeesin the woodroom and/or logyard aretrained in the safe operating proceduresof plant equipment, are aware of the location of fire equipment, and are familiar with the proper firefighting procedures.Provide leadership,
