This role involves engaging with shoppers, demonstrating products, and ensuring an inviting shopping workplace. Prior experience in grocery stores or retail environments is a plus. Bilingual skills are highly valued to assist our diverse customer base. The Sales Associate will play a key role in maintaining store presentation, managing stock, and upselling products to enhance sales performance.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experienceOperate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receiptsConduct product demonstrations and educate customers on features and perks of merchandiseAssist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining attractive product displaysPerform cashier duties including cashiering, basic math calculations,



and handling returns or exchangesUpsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to increase salesMaintain proper phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiriesSupport inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock replenishmentEnsure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all timesSupervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative work environmentExperiencePrevious retail sales experience preferred; experience in grocery stores or similar environments is advantageousFamiliarity with POS systems and cashiering proceduresStrong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectivelyExperience in product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management is beneficialBasic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculationsCustomer service experience emphasizing friendly interaction and problem-solving skillsSupervising experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are appreciated for team support rolesJob Type: Full-timePay: $19.00-$21.00 per hourExpected hours: 42 per weekBenefits:Designated paid holidaysOn-site parkingLanguage:spanish or portuguese (preferred)Work Location: In person
