This role leads cross-functional technical teams through the full lifecycle of intake, design, development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with business and customer goals.This position goes beyond traditional project management. It blends delivery leadership, people management, and operational excellence to enable self-directed teams to thrive while delivering complex, API-driven software solutions at scale.What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)7+ years of experience in software product development, preferably within martech or platform-based environments3+ years leading delivery of API-driven software and services using Agile and Waterfall frameworks1+ years of direct people management experience leading technical teams, with a strong focus on coaching, growth, and performanceAdvanced project management expertise, including estimation, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and resource allocationStrong experience using workflow and documentation tools such as Jira and ConfluenceExcellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder, partner, and client-facing interactionsWorking knowledge of Git and collaborative Git workflowsAbility to validate software functionality through API testing or mobile applications when requiredWhat You'll Do (Skills Used in This Position)Gain deep understanding of the software platform and ecosystem to confidently represent delivery needs, requirements,



and solutionsLead delivery of a key product roadmap pillar, partnering closely with technical leads to ensure quality, accuracy, and timelinessDirectly manage engineers and test analysts, fostering growth, engagement, and team performanceOwn end-to-end project management including estimates, schedules, sprint planning, reporting, risk tracking, post-mortems, and financial accountabilityServe as a day-to-day point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients on scope, timelines, status, and budgetCoordinate effectively across cross-functional teams including architecture, UX, product, QA, infrastructure, and external partnersProactively identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies across upstream and downstream teamsChampion team processes, delivery frameworks, and continuous improvement practicesAdvocate for your team by celebrating wins, sharing learnings, and promoting successes across the organizationCompensation InformationThe expected rate for this position is upto $65 to $70 CAD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.This role is intended as a long-term opportunity, beginning as a contract-to-hire engagement with robust investment in onboarding, growth, and team integration.
