We are seeking an analytical, resourceful and dependable Senior Financial Analyst to support the financial management of complex automation projects. This role resides within the accounting team and provides an prospect to work closely with Project Managers and operational leaders to monitor project performance, support percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and provide financial insight throughout the lifecycle of large automation projects. This is an ideal role for a CPA-track accounting professional with project accounting experience who wants to move beyond traditional accounting tasks and become a financial partner to operational teams. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Support percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition for automation projects Partner with Project Managers to monitor project financial performance, costs, and margins Analyze project costs and revenue to ensure financial accuracy and profitability Identify financial risks, cost variances,



and margin opportunities within active projects Assist with project financial forecasting and updates throughout project lifecycles Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts Perform financial variance analysis and provide insights to management Support financial reporting and analysis related to operational performance Assist in improving financial models and internal reporting tools Support month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and review project-related journal entries and reconciliations Ensure accuracy of project financial data within ERP systems Assist with internal and external audit requirements Oversee accounting policies while making recommendations for continuous improvement Provide backup support for payroll processing as required Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, and operational leadership Provide financial insight to support project execution and decision-making Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting QUALIFICATIONS Education: Business Diploma/Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or actively pursuing CPA Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience Experience with project accounting or percentage-of-completion revenue recognition Experience supporting project-based, manufacturing, or engineering environments is preferred Skills (required): Strong analytical and financial problem-solving abilities Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Skills (preferred): Experience supporting ERP implementations or financial system improvements Experience in automation, manufacturing, or engineering environments Exposure to payroll processing or payroll systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
