Position OverviewThe Billing Analyst is responsible for reviewing, validating, and closing daily route activity in the TRUX system to ensure accurate billing and operational records. This role serves as a key liaison between Operations and Accounting, ensuring route data, service documentation, and billing transactions are complete, accurate, and compliant.This position requires robust attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage high volumes of data in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRoute Closure & ValidationReview and reconcile completed daily routes in TRUXVerify customer details, service types, container information, tonnage, and job completionValidate required documentation (load slips, disposal weights, proof of service, signatures)Ensure documents are uploaded via TRUX or mobile applicationsConfirm routes are properly closed for billingEnter assigned billing transactions, including credits and debitsReporting & ReconciliationGenerate and distribute operational and accounting reports, including:Daily Route Audit ReportsMonthly Customer Billing SummariesMonthly invoicing support packages with required documentationExport route and production data for reconciliationTrack and resolve route exceptions prior to invoicingDispute ResolutionSupport Operations, Customer Service, and Accounting with billing inquiriesResearch missing documentation, incomplete work orders, and route discrepanciesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Operations, Dispatch,



and AccountingCommunicate data gaps and required correctionsSupport continuous improvement of billing and route-closing processesSkills & QualificationsExperience in billing, dispatch administration, accounting, or route-based services preferredTRUX or similar waste/transportation systems experience an assetStrong data accuracy and attention to detailProficient in Excel and reporting toolsExcellent communication and organizational skillsComfortable working with large daily data volumesCompensationBase salary range: $50,000 – $55,000 per yearThis salary range reflects the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, relevant experience, internal equity, and market conditions.Success MeasuresRoutes accurately closed and reconciled dailyTimely billing with minimal adjustments or creditsImproved billing accuracy and reduced backlogClear alignment between Operations and AccountingConsistent, reliable billing support for internal teamsWe thank you for your interest.
