Overview Our retail Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is vital to delivering a distinctive shopping experience. The ASM works closely with the Store Manager (SM) and company management to manage, maintain, and supervise day-to-day retail operations at the store location. Responsibilities Sales Associate Support Motivate and inspire team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking Support the SM and team members with positive and constructive feedback for professional growth Support the SM and all team members on work procedures and policies to ensure clear understanding of expectations Follow written SOPs and ensure compliance among the team as policies or regulations change Be accessible and responsive to team questions, suggestions, and concerns; help resolve conflicts Lead by example and work with staff to handle circumstances in a high-volume retail store Sales and Customer Service Utilize customer and team feedback to implement changes that improve the customer experience Track all employee and store sales daily to ensure optimal performance Daily Store Operations Maintain store compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations; organize and communicate required reporting, paperwork, and state tracking Assist SM with inventory, sales, and compliance audits Perform daily opening and closing procedures Ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked at all times Coordinate with management to perform daily, monthly, and yearly inventory audits and reconciliations Log and dispose of expired/damaged/returned product according to regulations Assist in receiving and ensure AGCO/wholesale deliveries are compliant and accurate against invoices Provide daily correspondence via email and manager’s log with the team as needed Comply with HR policies,
