We specialize in the design of heavy industrial facilities such as cement, lime, mining, pulp and paper. Our design professionals support projects all over the US and Canada and integrate with multi-discipline engineering teams on a wide array of projects. This is an opportunity to drive and expand an energetic team and learn from professionals with many years of experience.ResponsibilitiesOversee production of engineering documents such as reports, calculations, 3D models and drawings that are complete and technically accurateUtilize and train others in design software such as RISA, SAP 2000, Bluebeam, and REVIT to produce construction drawingsInteract with clients regarding technical design issues, coordination of document preparation, and submittal schedulesMentor and train younger engineers and team membersQualifications and ExperienceExtensive experience in concrete and steel design, including software such as SAP 2000 or similarExtensive experience in North American concrete and steel building codesA minimum of 5 years' experience with heavy industry such as cement, lime, mining, pulp and paperExperience with project management such as scheduling, QA/QC and client liaisonRegistered as a Qualified Engineer in good standingThe desire to work towards the Company's goal of excellent and timely service.Experience in the following commercial building construction systems is required:Reinforced and post-tensioned concreteReinforced masonryStructural steel and composite steelShallow, deep and raft foundationsConcrete,
