Empower students as a Term Instructor in Indigenous Human Services at NVIT starting September 2026. Teach essential courses and support learners' growth in a hybrid model.
NVIT is seeking qualified Term Instructors to deliver courses within the Indigenous Human Services Program. Ideal candidates should possess a Master of Social Work Degree and have experience teaching post-secondary courses, particularly with Aboriginal adult learners. You will engage students in interactive learning that prepares them for careers in non-profit agencies and Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach IHMS 110, IHMS 120, and IHMS 130 courses
• Utilize hybrid teaching model, both face-to-face and online
• Foster a positive classroom environment




• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs
• Contribute to the overall life of NVIT's community
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) is required
• Experience in post-secondary education
• Knowledge of Moodle, Teams, and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
• Understanding of Indigenous knowledge systems
Drive impactful learning experiences through creative teaching in Indigenous Human Services at NVIT.
