We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact Data & Analytics team supporting enterprise data platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who can own end-to-end data initiatives, from design through deployment, and build scalable data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. What We're Looking For is hands-on practical knowledge with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake). In particular, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:True senior-level autonomy – ability to independently own and lead complex data initiatives end-to-end with minimal oversightDeep, hands-on expertise across the full data lifecycle – including source systems, ingestion, transformation, data modeling, orchestration, and downstream consumption, with full accountability for production-ready solutionsStrong system-level thinking – able to design scalable, reliable data architectures beyond just tools and frameworksOwnership mindset – takes responsibility for delivery, quality, and performance in production environmentsExperience working within Canadian business environments ( financial services / Asset Mgmt.
