As a vital part of AGF, you will report to the Health and Safety Manager and be responsible for health and safety across the Kitchener plant and regional projects. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on H&S; policy development and implementation
• Lead workplace safety inspections and assessments
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive safety training
• Investigate incidents and suggest preventive measures
• Manage the development of emergency response plans
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years relevant construction safety experience
• Educational background in safety management as an advantage
• Proven leadership and mediation capabilities
• Strong knowledge of applicable safety regulations
• Ability to travel in a local capacity within Kitchener
