They ensure performance metrics reflect the true status of projects, enabling informed decision‐making and early corrective actions. This hands‐on leadership role requires close coordination with engineering, supply chain, and construction teams to maintain cost and schedule discipline in a fast‐paced environment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the project's integrated baseline covering schedule,
cost, and progress measurementLead the preparation of regular project performance reports including cost forecasts, schedule updates, and variance analysesEnsure accuracy and alignment of data across planning, cost control, and risk management functionsCoordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to maintain realistic forecasts for procurement and construction deliverablesOversee management of change, ensuring all scope variations are captured, costed, and approved in line with contract requirementsMonitor contractor performance and verify reported progress against field data and milestonesSupport project risk reviews, contingency assessments, and recovery plan developmentProvide training and guidance to project control engineers and schedulers, fostering a culture of continuous improvementQualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered15+ years of experience in project controls within large‐scale construction or industrial projectsProfessional certification such as AACE CCP, PSP, or PMI‐SP preferredExperience with Primavera P6 and advanced Excel/Power BI reporting tools strongly recommendedStrong background in cost control, planning/scheduling, and earned value managementProven experience in performance reporting and data‐driven decision‐makingDemonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary project control teamsPrior experience delivering large‐scale data center facilities for major technology clients highly preferredFluency, both written and verbal, in EnglishStrong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively with cross‐functional teamsMust be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship #J-18808-Ljbffr
