Permanent Full TimeThe Senior Engineering Specialist - Network Security, Network Platform is responsible for designing, deploying, and operationalizing current network and security technologies. The Engineer will also provide technical leadership by researching and conducting proof-of-concept on emerging technologies to determine business fit and promoting a mindset of continuous service improvement by conducting service health assessments.What You Will DoProvide technical consulting on capabilities and limitations of network and security technologiesLead validation and practicality of new technologies through rapid prototypingResearch and evaluate technologies/products and make recommendationsTest and evaluate network and security technologies against established criteriaWork with vendors to finalize detailed technical specifications for hardware and softwareInstall hardware and/or software in test and if needed in production environmentsBuild or enhance network and security technologies infrastructure components, and integrate 3rd party components, using standard tools (batch languages, programming languages, etc.)Implement all deliverables with the highest possible quality (that is, fewest implementation defects)Participate in the creation of project deliverables (estimates, schedules, risk assessments, etc.) as a project team memberMake design decision within the bounds established by project, portfolio, site and enterprise architecturesContribute to creation and maintenance of network and security technologies roadmapsConduct technical health assessments of the network and security technologiesTravel may be requiredWhat You Will BringA degree or equivalent education in a related discipline such as Computer Science, Business Computing, Engineering, or CommerceMinimum 10 years experience designing, integrating, and implementing end to end infrastructure,

This represents base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.E. annual bonus, commission etc).
