Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Produce Team Leader onsite at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Assist in building and leading a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.
- Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.




- Provide superior leadership to bakery team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
- Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
- Perform minor repairs to assets as required.

Who You Are:

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of experience in grocery store, or food service environment, Co-operative Retailing System experience is an asset.
- Possess knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Possess a valid Class 5 license and are available for day travel within the Lake Country Co-op trading area to attend seminars, meetings, training programs for other operational purposes.
- Able to fulfill the physical job requirements, standing, working in coolers, lifting up to 25lbs.
