OverviewLocation: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid). This is a hybrid position primarily based in Toronto. Many of the world’s leading organisations use these core competencies to help maximise the value of relationships with their investors, employees, creditors, members and customers.Role and TeamThe Finance function provides transactional accounting services; treasury, financial planning, analysis, reporting and commercial finance support to all business units and functions across Computershare worldwide. This position will be an integral part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The role reports to an FP&A Director and is responsible for delivering and producing management reporting requirements for Senior Management.ResponsibilitiesSupport the FP&A Director in delivering global month end, forecast, and budget reporting.Enhance analysis such as:Customer profitability analyses (profitability, cross selling, single view, product offerings)andProduct profitability, new product development .Conduct Competitor Analysis (CPU differentiation, SWOT) and identify opportunities for competitive advantage.Provide a holistic view of products and profitability; focus on profitable andfuture growth opportunities.Consolidate and review global commentary for month end, forecast and budget; draft commentaries including financial drivers, CAPEX, FTE and other items.Develop global business headlines that summarize drivers for month end,
forecasts and budget.Maintain reports; coordinate with regionsto consolidate data and adapt to ad hoc items during the process.Perform month end processing and analysis to drive growth and operational efficiency; provide year-on-year comparisons and trend analysis.Assist in developing board decks, including preparing PowerPoint slides and chart of accounts by reviewing and approving cost centers and accounts.Support process simplification and standardisation; ensure policies, procedures and controls are maintained and improved as needed.Collaborate with the BU Finance Analyst and cross-functional departments across the business unit.Identify opportunities for continual process improvements.What you will bring to the roleEssentialMinimum 2 years of financial and analytical experience.ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or local equivalent).Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in finance, accounting or related discipline.PreferredMaster’s degree in a quantitative field or relevant field.Experience with visualization software such as Tableau.ERP (Oracle, SAP, Workday, or other) experience.Rewards and BenefitsEmployee Share Plan: set aside salary to purchase shares and receive a company contribution.Health and Wellbeing: rewards tailored to support you and your family.Save for Your Future: retirement savings support.Paid time away from work: competitive PTO package, including a day for volunteering.Employee Discounts: savings with banks, car manufacturers, travel, accommodation and other brands.Compensation: typical base pay range is $75,000.00 – $105,000.00 with an expected discretionary bonus.Extra Rewards: tuition reimbursement, recruitment referral programs, and comprehensive benefits.In this position, you’ll be based in the Toronto office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for part of your working week.
