Accounting BookkeeperStarting Immediately: YesTerms of Employment: Year RoundWage: $25.75 per hourBenefits Package: Accommodation available for 170 bi-weekly and 3 meals per day included.Location: 120 Totem Road Sioux Narrows, Ontario P0X1N0Education: College CEGEP or other non‑university diploma from a one‑to‑two‑year program.Job DutiesKeep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements.Track employee overtime.Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and for utility, tax and other bills.Prepare bank deposits as required.Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms,



pension contribution forms and other government documents.Invoice customers as requested and when required.Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services.Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.Other duties that apply.Job RequirementsCompletion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field at a minimum.Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience is required.Work well independently and as part of a team.Solid retention of information.Computer skills and bookkeeping ADAGIO software experience is an asset.Willing to work all days of the week, including holidays.Strong math skills and attention to details.Strong communicator.MS Office experience is required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
