What you'll do

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories, providing exceptional service and support.
- Utilize our inventory management system to track parts availability, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are processed efficiently.
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their vehicles by interpreting VIN numbers and understanding various automotive specifications.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring that all parts are stored properly and accessible.
- Stay updated on new products, industry trends, and technological advancements in the automotive sector to better assist customers.

Requirements

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a parts department or automotive retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and accessories, with the ability to interpret technical information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive certifications are a plus.
