Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Cyber Security Governance Remediation, this role translates executive-level goals into actionable plans, ensures strong governance, and drives outcomes across complex, multi-year initiatives. This position requires a highly experienced leader who can navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, manage large portfolios, and deliver insights that support ROI, long-term planning, and enterprise transformation. Key Responsibilities Lead overall portfolio planning and execution, including cadence setting, dependency management, risk mitigation, and resource optimization Develop and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and reporting structures to support transparency and decision-making Translate strategic goals into executable plans and adjust strategies as priorities evolve Design and deliver executive-ready dashboards, materials, and insights Build strong relationships with senior leaders and influence outcomes across business units Provide strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and long-term planning Monitor emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to evolve strategy Conduct analysis to enhance capabilities, drive efficiencies,
and support sustainable growth Required Skills & Qualifications Required: 10+ years of experience in program or portfolio management within large, complex organizations Direct ownership of 8-figure budgets with P&L responsibility Proven ability to communicate with AVP, VP, and C-level executives Experience managing portfolios within a consulting firm or large financial institution (RBC or comparable preferred) Strong strategy, planning, and execution expertise Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills Preferred: Experience in U.S. and Canadian enterprise environments (10k–50k+ employees) Experience working in cybersecurity, governance, or regulatory-driven portfolios Nice to Have: Familiarity with AI prompting or prompt engineering Background in large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives Education & Experience Education: Post-secondary education preferred (experience prioritized) Experience: 10+ years of relevant professional experience Leadership & Culture Expectations Demonstrate inclusive leadership and support diverse, collaborative teams Foster a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and colleague development Lead through change with resilience, adaptability, and clear communication Align team contributions with enterprise priorities and shared commitments Disqualifiers Candidates not interested in converting to full time employment Candidates without Canadian citizenship due to future U.S. travel requirements post-conversion About the Company A top 10 bank in Canada and North America, providing comprehensive retail, commercial, wealth management, and wholesale banking solutions.
