About the Company Our client is a cannabis retailer. They are looking for a Manager, Corporate FP&A who will be responsible for managing the financial planning process, ensure accurate forecasting and drive relevant reporting and analysis produced for senior management of the business, as well as driving business analysis and strategic insights. This position will work closely with the operational segment teams and the Corporate Accounting team. Strong growth and career progression focus with clear upside Flexibility with working mainly remote About the Opportunity Drive planning, forecasting and reporting related processes across the company as both a process owner and analytical thought leader Ownership of month end analysis, aggregation of information from across the business to generate the monthly reporting and board packages Support the development of the annual budget using activity-based cost drivers Creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, models, tools, and dashboards Develop forecasting and insights to support the Corporate team with customer/category/item profitability reporting Oversight of the financial planning tools and technology,
including driving the enhancement roadmap in partnership with our financial systems team Streamline processes, optimize financial systems, and help build out reporting infrastructure Help design and build presentations for Executive and Board level audiences Develop gross margin reporting tool to explain vol/mix/price/cost variances Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting Be a trusted financial business partner to all aspects of the organization About You 7+ years of Finance experience in a CPG environment Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or equivalent CPA designation or MBA would be an asset Advanced Excel skills, required to consolidate data from multiple sources Robust ERP base concepts (D365, SAP, JDE etc) PowerBI reporting experience a benefit Strong analytical and data-gathering skills, business case development and sensitivity analysis Salary Range $115,000 - $125,000/year Location This position for employment is for a current vacancy with Vaco/Highspring’s client.
