PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Assistant General Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of Intermodal and Automotive Operations within a designated territory. Reporting directly to the Vice President, this position provides strategic leadership, acts as the primary escalation point for operational issues, and drives excellence in safety, service, asset utilization, cost control, and team development.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:





- Provide visionary leadership to ensure safety, service quality, asset optimization, and cost efficiency
- Drive strategic initiatives under the Assistant Vice President's guidance to enhance operational excellence
- Act as the primary liaison for intermodal and automotive operations, resolving escalated issues across departments
- Lead operational, safety, and project management efforts with a focus on continuous improvement
- Develop and implement standardized procedures, policies, and operating practices across the territory to ensure consistent, effective, and seamless terminal operations
- Oversee train operations design and execution to promote terminal and network fluidity.
