Join ATCO Frontec as a 2nd Cook at our remote camp in Menihek, NL. Your culinary skills will contribute to high-quality meal preparation and support a dedicated kitchen team.
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Cook who can assist the kitchen staff in cooking, food prep, and cleaning. Working on a 12-hour shift rotation, you will work 14 days on and have 14 days off. Your experience in the hotel or restaurant industry will be vital in ensuring the meals meet our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals to the highest standards
• Support kitchen operations efficiently and professionally
• Safely operate and inspect kitchen equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of food and kitchen facilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Requirements:
• Complete a cooking program from a recognized institution
• Hold a valid food safety certificate
• 2-3 years’ second cook experience
• Robust multitasking and prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
