This role focuses on assessing and mitigating cyber risks, ensuring compliance with security standards, and applying threat modeling techniques to protect enterprise environments—particularly within Microsoft Azure and AI-driven ecosystems. The successful candidate collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop security architectures, support evolving business needs,
and enhance overall cybersecurity practices in a federal government context.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate with the delivery of the security solution design based on business, operational, technical and security requirement, as well as IT strategiesAssess the technology solutions for compliance to the Client's Cyber Security directives and standardsWork with project teams to mitigate cyber risksApply a threat modeling approach to cyber security risk measurement and reportingResearch and monitor technology developments and industry trends; assessing their applicability, functionality and reliability for the Client and recommending technologies that will enhance productivity and the achievement of the client’s business objectivesContribute to the development of the overall Cyber Security Solution Architecture processes, AI tools, standards, and templatesAttend meetings to socialize program objectivesCollaborate with stakeholders to support evolving business needsOther activities and deliverables, as requiredRequired QualificationsUniversity degree or college diploma in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related disciplineA minimum of ten (10) years of recent demonstrated experience in the IT fieldA minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in developing solutions architectureA minimum of five (5)
years of demonstrated experience working in a cyber assessment programDemonstrated experience in the development and application of security policies and security technical standardsDemonstrated experience with different architecture and design techniques (e.G., object-oriented, top-down, structured analysis and component-based design) and toolsDemonstrated experience and knowledge securing a Microsoft Azure environment with many AI tools on the landscape such as AI Foundry, Fabric, Github Copilot, DatabricksPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of Canadian Financial Market InfrastructuresDemonstrated knowledge of Cyber Security assessment frameworks such as:NIST 800.53ISO 27001 and 27002Demonstrated ability to work with an enterprise architecture framework and groupDemonstrated knowledge of principles and best practices in software architecture and architectural/design patterns and frameworksDemonstrated experience and knowledge to recommend threat detection tools to counteract evolving risks in the AI spaceCompensation Salary Range: $90.00– $110.00 per hourOur recruitment process is led by human recruiters who review all applications and make the final hiring decisions.
