Finning is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to support their mining client in Nunavut. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Caterpillar equipment in a unique northern environment. Candidates will work a 21/21 rotation, enjoy industry-leading benefits, and contribute to building strong northern communities. The ideal candidate is a certified Heavy Duty Mechanic with extensive experience on mining equipment and a commitment to safety and customer service.

What You’ll Need

- Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Certification
- 5+ years experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mining equipment (e.g., Dozers, Track-Hoes, Haul Trucks, Graders, Loaders, Drills, Shovels)
- Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 years)
- Strong experience in electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience beneficial
- Transmission or hydraulic testing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 21/21 continuous day/night rotation
- Commitment to on-site safety requirements
