The Capitol Forum is hiring a Director of Business Development to lead and expand our sales presence in Europe. This London-based, hybrid role is ideal for a senior sales professional with deep experience selling to investors, regulators, lawyers, and policymakers. The right candidate will be equally comfortable owning a territory, driving current business across the region, and managing our Europe-based sales team members.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our European commercial strategy-building long-term relationships with clients who rely on The Capitol Forum's investigative journalism and regulatory intelligence.

Lead business development efforts targeting prospects across Europe.





Own and grow the European territory while managing and mentoring two London-based sales team members. Demonstrate a deep understanding of The Capitol Forum's reporting and analysis to clearly convey its value to prospective clients. Engage inbound leads from marketing campaigns, conferences, and referrals.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, forecasts, and progress reports. Collaborate closely with marketing, editorial, and leadership teams to support growth initiatives.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within financial intelligence, research, data, or media. Proven success in sales Prior experience managing or mentoring sales team members.

Strong understanding of how our target audience uses regulatory and policy intelligence. Flexible, hybrid work environment (London-based; 2-3 days in office). Generous paid vacation plan.
