Class Three or Q Endorsement Truck Driver

Qualifications/Experience

- Must possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license or Q Endorsement, with a recent and clean driver's abstract;
- Minimum of 1 years of hauling experience including construction trailer and tandems;
- Knowledge of legal weight requirements;
- Knowledge of load securement;
- Must get along well with others;
- Must be a team player;
- Must have good communication (verbal and written) skills;
- Must be able to work construction hours.

Duties

- Haul Construction Trailer to and from site;
- Completes a thorough pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and periodically throughout shift;
- Operates Trucks/Equipment in a protected and effective manner, carrying out assigned duties;
- Load, transport and unload equipment and materials according to company and as per legislative guidelines;
- Ensure vehicles and axle weights meet regulatory requirements;
- Secures loads (equipment & material) according to company and legislated requirements;
- Maintains accurate daily work order & log books as required;
- Labour duties;
