Take on a tenure-track position in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Alberta’s North Campus in Edmonton. This role combines teaching, research, and collaboration within a diverse faculty cluster.
We are looking for passionate candidates for the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor positions in this interdisciplinary framework. Duties include teaching courses in environmental and water resources engineering, conducting research on hydrological extremes, and building externally funded collaborative projects. Your work will connect with leading centers and industry partners to address contemporary water challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and develop curriculum in Water Resources Engineering




• Conduct innovative research in watershed transport and hydrology
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners
• Supervise student research projects
• Secure external funding for research initiatives
Requirements:
• PhD in relevant engineering discipline
• Solid background in water resources research
• Commitment to diversity in academia
• Experience in collaborative teaching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
