Community Occupational Therapist - (227455) Duncan Norcross & Drinkwater Road (DNDR) – Duncan, BC V9L 6C5, Canada (Primary) Work Area: FBA Only | Multi‑Site: Yes | Travel: Required to multiple sites | Shift: As required | Pay: $45.15 – $56.17 per hour | Vacancy Type: Casual | Planned Start Date: Mar. 30 2026 Under the general administrative direction of the Manager, this position provides community‑based Occupational Therapy services to referred clients, offers consultation for caregivers, and educates clients, caregivers, staff, and the community on rehabilitation interventions. Patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA; continuous improvement of quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Qualifications - Graduation from a recognised university program in Occupational Therapy.





- Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as an Occupational Therapist; eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
- Minimum two (2) years’ postgraduate experience in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Community experience preferred.
- Criminal Record Check required for qualified registration.
- Excellent communication, speaking, and organisational skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Class 5 driver’s licence – daily travel required.
