Role Description This part-time remote Compliance Analyst role focuses on supporting clients with regulatory compliance, risk management, and audit readiness activities.

The Compliance

Analyst reviews policies, procedures, and controls against relevant standards and frameworks, such as ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other industry regulations, and documents gaps and remediation needs. The role involves analyzing risk assessments, supporting third-party risk reviews, and helping prepare compliance documentation, evidence, and reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Analyst collaborates with senior consultants to translate regulatory requirements into practical, actionable controls and assists in tracking the status of compliance initiatives and corrective actions. This position also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and helping develop templates, checklists, and guidance materials for clients.

Qualifications

Experience with regulatory and standards-based compliance (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, NIST, or similar frameworks).

Knowledge of cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance concepts, including control design, risk assessment, and audit readiness.

Robust analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and map them to business processes and technical controls.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for drafting policies, procedures, reports, and client-facing documentation.

High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote, part-time setting.

Comfort working with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, IT, operations, legal, product) and engaging with client stakeholders in a professional manner.

Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, documentation platforms, project tracking tools).

Bachelor’s degree in information security, law, business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
