What You’ll Do Own the Hardware Product Strategy & Roadmap. Define and execute the end‑to‑end roadmap for ZOLEO devices—from concept through launch and scale. Identify key product categories, align device strategy to market opportunities, and ensure tight integration with services, firmware, and mobile experiences. Stay informed on competitive offerings, including satellite‑enabled smartphones and emerging connectivity providers, to ensure ZOLEO devices remain differentiated. Drive Customer‑Centric Innovation. Develop deep expertise in customer segments (outdoor, enterprise, government) and translate real‑world use cases into differentiated device capabilities. Define how ZOLEO wins in mission‑critical scenarios through purposeful design and superior usability. Lead AI‑First Device Evolution. Identify and integrate emerging technologies—including AI, advanced networks, and new interface paradigms—into hardware products. Leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, prototyping, and decision‑making while embedding intelligent features into device experiences. Deliver Best‑in‑Class Device Experiences.



Own the device experience end‑to‑end across hardware, firmware, and service integration. Translate strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes that clearly define UX, UI, and interaction models for engineering teams. Collaborate Cross‑Functionally to Execute. Partner with engineering, design, and product leaders to assess feasibility, manage dependencies, and deliver predictable launch timelines. Ensure alignment between device capabilities and broader platform features. Enable Go‑to‑Market Success. Support marketing, sales, and customer support teams with clear positioning, documentation, and training. Act as a subject‑matter expert on device capabilities and competitive differentiation, owning the triage and resolution of critical device issues in market. Measure Performance & Drive Continuous Improvement. Define and track KPIs across device performance, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes. Embed telemetry into device and firmware requirements to generate actionable insights, and use data to continuously improve reliability, usability, and value. What You Bring Product Management & Hardware Expertise. 3–5+ years of experience managing integrated hardware and software products, with a proven ability to drive strategy and execution for connected devices. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience is expected. Strong Technical & Systems Thinking. Ability to engage deeply with engineering teams across hardware, firmware, and connectivity domains.



Comfortable navigating trade‑offs across RF systems, power, durability, and performance. Customer‑First Mindset. Demonstrated ability to work directly with users and customers to uncover needs, validate solutions, and prioritize effectively—especially in complex or high‑stakes environments. AI‑First Product Approach. Hands‑on experience leveraging AI tools to improve product development workflows, accelerate prototyping, and inform decision‑making, with an interest in embedding AI into device functionality and user experience. Connected Device / Domain Knowledge. Experience in satellite communications, IoT ecosystems, telematics platforms, or exposure to safety‑critical or mission‑critical product environments is preferred. Hardware Development Acumen. Familiarity with ruggedized device design (IP ratings, environmental testing), embedded systems, OTA strategies, battery optimization, and field usability considerations is preferred. What We Offer Salary Range. $110,000–$130,000 CAD base salary. Hybrid Work. Candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area will be expected to work in a hybrid model of three days per week in the Toronto office.
