Purpose & Key accountabilities The Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for managing and reporting the ongoing Operational Risks within BMW Group Financial Services Canada. Monthly reporting and analysis of the Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Loss Data Collection (LDC). Coordinate with various departments to gather results for KRI reporting and understand and report why thresholds are not met. Conduct annual organizational risk assessment. Assess and report on the identified risk scenarios. Annual review of business processes and controls; facilitate control testings. Prepare and conduct quarterly Operational Risk Committee meetings. Follow up and report on action items from Operational Risk Committee meetings. Develop and maintain local Operational Risk guidelines. Work closely with the Regional and Group Operational Risk teams, Compliance and Legal to ensure minimum requirements are met. Coordinate and resolve internal audit findings with various departments. Business Continuity Management Coordination: Annual business impact analysis (BIA) of SF2-CA time critical processes; Coordination of business continuity tests and exercises as described in the SF BCM Guidelines in conjunction with the NSC; Evaluate,



assess and report BCM status to the management team Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience / Other Skills Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance is required 3 years of relevant, professional finance experience Experience in Operational Risk or Compliance topics is beneficial Strong mathematical aptitude and proven analytical skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Self‑motivated, results‑driven and strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment Compensation The compensation range for this role is $73,100 - $90,600, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills.
