You will act under the First Nations Fiscal Management Act (FMA), providing invaluable legal advice for corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Provide legal support in Board meetings and governance activities

- Anticipate and mitigate legal risks through strategic advice
- Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policies
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance
- Liaise with external legal and regulatory bodies LLB or JD, and a practicing member of a Law Society
- Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience
- Background in corporate governance
- Excellent communication skills in English Support Indigenous governance and sustainability through legal expertise at FMB.
