Elevate your legal career with GreenShield as a Corporate Legal Counsel, specializing in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law. This role supports various business units in a not-for-profit workplace, promoting health for Canadians. In collaboration with the Associate General Counsel, you will provide timely, business-oriented legal advice and manage contracts, compliance, and enterprise initiatives at GreenShield.

Your expertise will facilitate strategic business objectives while identifying and mitigating legal risks across a diverse range of sectors. This position primarily focuses on drafting agreements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance regulatory compliance and support product development.



Provide legal advice on corporate and regulatory matters

- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
- Support contract lifecycle from onboarding to renewals
- Identify legal risks and propose solutions
- Collaborate with IT, privacy, and other teams for compliance Proven ability to draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- Familiarity with health and insurance law is an asset
- Superior communication skills for non-legal stakeholders
