Endless possibilities.About The RoleAs a member of the IT team, the Sr. Associate, IT (Security) will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily IT operations and strengthening Appnovation's security posture across our corporate infrastructure and systems. This includes managing security controls, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and protecting corporate assets. Beyond core IT security responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our engineering teams on client projects where security expertise is needed. Appnovation prides itself on having an open environment focused on teamwork and growth, giving you the chance to guide your own workload and grow your career.ResponsibilitiesProvide remote and on-site technical support related to both security and non-security IT itemsInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer software and hardware, and manage in-office technical assetsManage and support a range of SaaS-based applicationsImplement and maintain information security controls across company systems and infrastructureConfigure and manage security tools including firewalls, endpoint protection, and monitoring systemsSupport identity and access management (IAM) implementation,



including multi-factor authenticationSupport security incident response and remediation effortsContribute to security policies and documentation aligned with business requirementsMonitor security advisories to address emerging vulnerabilitiesSupport compliance efforts with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA)Who You Are (Qualifications)Proactive security professional with strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsStrong collaborative and communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholdersAble to balance proactive security initiatives with responsive operational supportDetail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects across both IT and engineering domains5+ years of experience in information security roles, with hands‑on experience in:IT Security Fundamentals: Network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN), identity and access management (IAM) solutions, vulnerability assessment tools and patch management, security monitoring platforms and log analysis, endpoint protection and security policy enforcement, cloud security architecture (AWS or GCP environments)Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with AI/ML security considerations and securing AI system deployments, understanding of data privacy implications in AI applicationsRequired Skills & Certifications (Assets)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fieldSecurity certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP (Associate level acceptable),
